What is Anjali Social Welfare and Development Society?
It is a registered non-governmental organisation based in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India, founded in 2007. It trains rural women and youth in fruit preservation, food processing and herbal products so they can find dignified work or start small enterprises.
Is the Society a registered NGO?
Yes. The Society was registered on 26 April 2007 under registration number 06/09/01/05923/07.
Who leads the Society?
The Chairman is Smt. Sunita Mishra, a state-level prize-winning fruit preservation specialist. The Advisor is Shri Rajesh Kumar Mishra, a former Senior Horticulture Officer with 38 years of experience in the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
What training programmes does the Society offer?
Four hands-on programmes: Seasonal Fruit Beverages (3 days), Tomato Value-Added Products (3 days), Fruit Preservation with aonla products (1 day), and Herbal & Medicinal Products (1 day). Each includes practical sessions and guidance on packaging and marketing.
Who can join the training programmes?
The programmes are designed for rural women, self-help groups (SHGs), women from BPL families and young people who want to earn through food processing. No prior experience is needed.
Where does the Society work?
The Society is based in Sagar and works across Madhya Pradesh. It has run programmes in Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur and Khajuraho, and has exhibited at national fairs in New Delhi and Chennai.

Do I need any prior experience to join the fruit beverages training?
No. The course starts from the basics and every participant prepares the products by hand under the trainers' guidance.
